Well they say it happens in threes. If Simon James did not believe this yesterday he was certainly the firmest of believers today. Unemployed, a cheating girlfriend and car trouble, he began to wonder if the day could get any worse.

As Simon slammed the car into gear and set off along the M18, he knew he would reach his destination in a couple of hours. With his mind filled with why he had left his home town in the first place, it doesn't take long for Simon to realise that some of the choices he makes may well have a negative effect on his future, and some of the choices he has already made are not prepared to remain in his past.
